FOR STUDENTS CATEGORY : 1. Maximum three (3) members in a team. 2. Each team must incorporate currently enrolled students in an educational institution in India (student ID numbers and a copy of ID must be provided for validation). 3. One (1) local mentor per team is mandatory (in addition to the 3 members). FOR PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY : 1. Maximum three (3) members in a team. 2. Each team should comprise of currently employed persons in Government or private organizations of India. 3. The team may seek help from a local mentor, if required

All you need to do is… (2.1) Visit https://gfsu.edu.in/hackthon (2.2) Create a login id for your team (2.3) Fill all the required fields (2.4) Click ‘Submit’ (2.5) Congratulations! You have submitted your application. >> Note: Registration of teams must be done by a Team Leader only and you need to feel all the details carefully because you will not be able to change it afterwards.
It is both. Maximum 3 participant can make a team and minimum 1 person can also participate.
>> If you are currently studying in any College/Institute/University, you are eligible for “student” category. >> If you are currently employed to any government organization or private organization of Indian origin, you can apply for “professional” category.
>> There is no limit on how many teams per college/institute/organization can participate. >> Each team would comprise of maximum 3 members. >> Clearly mention the email-ids and mobile numbers of all team members and mentor(if required) while registering for hackathon. >> For Student category, one (1) local mentor per team is mandatory (in addition to the 3 members). >> For Professional category, the team may seek help from a local mentor, if required.
>> Please note: Idea submission must be made by team leader of a team only. >> One team can submit ONLY One Idea. >> Submission dates should be strictly followed. No exceptions will be made. >> After login, fill in all the required details for submission of the idea. >>> For Stage -2 >> Entries to be sent only in the prescribed format (i.e. PDF file format only); otherwise they are bound to get rejected. >> Upload PDF file of the PPT in the prescribed format, stating the idea and proposed methodology. >> Team may upload a revised PDF file of the PPT for their ideas upto a day prior to the last day of idea submission. Requests for changes in the Ideas after the cut off date shall not be entertained. Teams cannot be changed once they are registered. Please see the terms and conditions for further reference.
Teams are allowed to participate in multiple domains, however each team can submit only one idea in each domain.

>> Evaluation criteria will include novelty of the idea, complexity, clarity and details in the prescribed format, feasibility, practicability, sustainability, scale of impact, user experience and potential for future work progression. >> Preferences will be given to entries with innovative concepts while selecting between two similar ideas.
>> Notification will be sent to the team leader and the mentor in the form of email and SMS on or after 26th February 2020. >> Keep a track of all announcements and updates received in mails. >> Be available for meetings and training during the final phase; and it will be notified in advance if any.
>> If a team is selected for the final round of Forensic Hackathon 2020, members along with their mentor will be allowed to participate in Final Phase of event at GFSU campus, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. >> Colleges/Institute/organizations must issue a letter on their letterhead stating the names of the team and team members along with signature and stamp of the principal or any competent authority. >> The team leader’s name should be clearly specified in the letter. >> A scanned copy of the above mentioned letter in PDF form has to be submitted during third phase of the online application process. >> College/institute/organization photo ID is mandatory for participating in the final round.
>> Prizes for the top winners under different categories are • 1st prize - Rs.3,00,000/- • 1st runner up - Rs.2,00,000/- • 2nd runner up - Rs.1,00,000/-
